Tali Update

Hi all. We met yesterday with Tali's caseworker. We will be moving her in with birth mom this coming Saturday morning. This was at my request. We had the option of either having Tali do a weekend visit again this weekend and then moving her maybe Tues or Wed of next week....but I feel like with me being as close as I am to my due date (1 week, 5 days out), we should go ahead and get her moved. We don't want to have Isaac and THEN have to move Tali out, because we don't want Tali to feel replaced by Isaac...."Mommy and Daddy had another baby and now I have to leave...." That'd be terrible. :-/ So we want to go ahead and get her moved before Isaac comes.

That's the plan. Please pray for us this Saturday morning, and especially for her. Pray for God's peace that passes all understanding. Pray for wisdom for Tali's birth mom as she takes on the responsibility of parenting her daughter full-time. Pray that she'll make choices that are best for Tali, especially in regards to Tali's schedule, and in regards to the relationships she chooses to be in, the people Tali is around on a regular basis, etc.

In just a few minutes I am leaving to go pick up Tali's birth mom and bring her over to our place for the afternoon. I feel like this will be good for Tali - to see her mom here with us, to see me being OKAY with her being here, etc. It'll also be good for birth mom to see Tali in her element, to see what her life is like here, etc. If you read this within the next few hours, please pray God's blessing over this time, over our conversation, etc, etc.

Thanks friends. We love you guys.

Praying for you all. Part of my heart breaks but more of my rejoices in knowing and seeing God at work in your lives.

God, bless little Tali with a never-ending abundance of Your presence in her precious life. Prepare Issac's heart for the wonderful journey You have before him. Strengthen Stan & Dana for the ride of a lifetime! Bless them with wisdom, patience and health. In Jesus Name.

Love you guys so much,
Darin
