Signs of Spring!

Can I just say that being in your first trimester (and all that that entails), combined with the DEAD of winter = ZERO FUN-O?! Soooo, needless to say, I've been ACHING for it to be spring (partially just because I love spring, and partially because I couldn't WAIT to be out of my first tri!)...and, SPRING IS FINALLY HERE!! These are from Tali's and my walk today. We probably walked a good mile and a half or so (or rather, I walked, she rode)...which felt soooo good. Thank you Lord for SPRING (and 2nd trimester!)!!

Oh, I almost forgot! As Tali and I were on our way out the door to meet Stan for a picnic lunch over his lunch break today, I opened the fridge to grab something and noticed that Tali had grabbed a ziploc baggie full of veggies. I just KNEW she wouldn't be able to get the bag open so I let her hold onto it for a minute while I packed some turkey into a baggie for her....then from the hallway I heard a shaking sound and I turned around to see veggies FLYING ALL OVER THE PLACE...all over the front hallways, the kitchen floor.... It was no small mess. Thankfully, God gave me grace to laugh about it, and I sent the following picture to Stan on his cell phone to let him know we were going to be a BIT late. :) Wow. Oh, and let me just say that peas and carrots and corn and green beans don't sweep up very easily...they get stuck under the broom bristles and get squished into the tiles of the floor... Fun times! :) Well, Tali had fun anyway!
