ISAAC PATRICK BUTLER

Hi everyone! Ultrasound was today! It's a BOY!! His name is Isaac Patrick Butler. Patrick is Stan's middle name, and his dad's first name. Isaac means laughter. God has told us that our baby will be full of joy and will bring great joy to us and to others.

He's smiling here! Or making a smiling kinda face, anyway. :) The sonographer
kinda flipped out when she saw this: "Oh my gosh, he's SMILING! Look at this!"

I am soooo surprised because I've thought the baby was a girl this whole time....until this morning when I woke up thinking it might be a boy. Last night I had a dream that we went to the ultrasound and found out it was a boy....like the Lord was preparing my heart. :) He's good like that.

Another interesting thing....This morning Stan came into the bedroom before he left for work and said, "I woke up feeling uneasy about the boy name we've chosen....I think we may need to change it." So he and I prayed about it this morning, and again in the car on the way to the ultrasound....and changed our boy name to Isaac RIGHT before the ultrasound! I had always liked Isaac a little better than the name we had settled upon...but genuinely liked the other name too and since Stan felt strongly about it I was fine with it. But then this morning God spoke ISAAC to us so clearly.

Here's something funny: Tali LAUGHED in the car on the way to the ultrasound, over, and over, and over again. She was hilarious - she NEVER laughs that much. The name Isaac means LAUGHTER. Coincidence? I don't think so! :) God is so cool!
