I sang this song today for worship at church. This song exactly describes where I'm at with the Lord. The desire to yearn. Not totally feeling it with my emotions yet, but feeling the beginning of something.... something like a bit of desire that's starting to burn in my heart again. Even this baby flame is a gift from Jesus to my heart. "A smoldering wick you will not quench..." Abba, breathe on the flame in my heart. I know this time will be different than before. Deeper, purer, more refined. I'm thankful for the refining process, Lord.....now would you let me feel the fire again? This is my prayer God. I want to yearn for you. I want to burn with passion over you, and only you.
