Father, I so need you to walk beside me through this day. I need you to feel with me every emotion.... Every bit of excitement, joy, sadness, stress..... I need you to be near to me in tangible ways today Lord.....and to draw ME near to YOU. In the moments when my mind and heart wander, pull me back in, Lord, into the place where I am leaning on your chest, hearing your heartbeat. Abba, I want to know you more today....to know more of your heart toward me and toward those whom You've placed in my life. I want to live secure in the fact that my Father is GOD, the King, the Creator of the universe, and that He intimately knows and loves ME. I want to be a source of Your love and light and life to those I encounter today. I want them to feel Your love as they speak with me. Father, make me genuine in my interactions with others. Make me authentic. Make me an accurate representation of Your heart.
Jesus, I love you so much.... Walk beside me today.
