Here I am, FINALLY, to give you an overview of our 3 days of exploring Kansas City with our "Russian Princess"... er... friend .... Anya! :) She was the last of our guests in our 11 day stretch of company from Colorado.... We enjoyed our time with her a bunch... She, and Sam, who was also here for about a day during the time Anya was here, came to our house church with us, and Anya and Dana (And Stan on Sunday) saw just about everything there is to see in KC. It was so cool to see the new downtown - I hadn't seen it yet. It's been overhauled in a major way since I lived here last. Sooooo..... with that said, here are just a few (yeah, right!) pics from those three days with An-yush-ka! :)(CLICK THE PICS FOR A CLEARER VIEW)

Checkin' out "the new downtown." I didn't know KC'd gotten so COOL while I was gone!

In the background: the new Sprint Center

A brief interlude of Stan and Dana being....well.... ourselves...

At the river walk by the Plaza in KCMO

We ate dessert at Skies - a rotating restaurant with an amazing view of the KC skyline. We hit it at the perfect time - sunset:

On Sunday before we took Anya to the airport, we went on one more sight-seeing excursion: To the Liberty Memorial near downtown Kansas City. We went up to the top and enjoyed ANOTHER amazing areal view of KC. First some pics at the bottom, then some from the top:

Now from the top: This is a view of Skies - the restaurant where we had watched the Sunset that Friday night. Fun to see it from a different angle. :)

And finally.... Here's Anya in her natural habitat: Anywhere where she can take pictures!! LOTS of them!! :)

Haha, my favorite picture is the one of Dana and Anya posing (at the fountain) in the direct line of sight of the couple taking their wedding pictures in the background! I'm sure they loved you guys for that.
