Today we are going to spend time with a bunch of our ROCK family, and then with Stan's cousin Steve and his family. We are so blessed to have friends and family here to spend holidays with, and blessed to have a country where, as of yet, we don't have to worship Jesus in secret. I'm thankful for our freedom....and thankful to those in the military, past and present, who make so many sacrifices in order to preserve and protect our nation and our freedom. Thanks specifically to Grandpa (Colonel) Agre and to my brother Aaron and his wife Paige. We appreciate your sacrifice. We don't take it for granted.
This week we had Aaron and Paige (Dana's bro and sis-in-law), along with Maddie, our doggy-niece, come and stay with us for 2 nights. We all had a great time together.... We played lots of cards, hung out at the park, explored the Plaza, ate yummy guacamole at Baja 600, conquered the island of Catan (Settlers of Catan is an awesome board game), and watched a movie, among other things. (Paige won EVERY SINGLE GAME WE PLAYED!!! ARGH! But I still love her... I guess.... ;) ) I will post some pictures now, and then there will be more to come (A bunch of pics are on Paige's camera too). Enjoy the pics! I'm signing off for now.... (The picture of the table is intentional. :) It is our new dining room table that we were GIVEN by Dana's friend Jackie and her family. Thank you Lord! Aaron helped Stan carry it up the stairs and into our apartment yesterday. I (Dana, of course) am so excited about it!!
