Sooooooo, Stan's birthday was this past Thursday, the 24th. And not just his birthday.... THIS, my friends, was the BIG 3-0! :) Stan had mentioned to me a month or two beforehand that he wanted to go to Chuck E. Cheese.... to "relive his childhood," I think he said. So what could I do but to plan a surprise Chuck E. Cheese birthday party for him?? I had no choice! :) Lol. Anyway... like I said, his birthday was on a Thursday, and our house church meets on Thursdays.... so almost our entire house church, along with several other families from our church AND a couple of Stan's coworkers, surprised him at Chuck E. Cheese on Thursday evening. (I baked a cake, which I decorated with the help of Raven, the 13-year-old daughter of our house church leaders.) Stan was shocked....which is kind of a miracle, because I am not so great at keeping secrets!! But I did it! I'm sorta proud of myself. :)As a side note, I discovered a hidden (even hidden from me!) talent of mine - - arcade basketball. The kind where the hoop moves back and forth and they still expect you to make shots. I was actually really good at it! I beat a few of the guys! Wooohoooo! I had fun....
Anyway.... here are some pictures from that evening. :) I highly recommend a trip to Chuck E. Cheese every now and then....especially for anyone age 30 or over.... helps you stay in touch with your inner child. :) Ahhhhh..... good times.

Ha! You're old now! Actually, I'm older, but that's not the point. Rebecca turns 30 tomorrow, so she's old, too!
Looks like so much crazy fun! I love Dance Dance Revolution, by the way... I'm not very good at it either, by the way...
wow, I just realized how horribly grammatically incorrect and repetitive my comment was... sorry about that!
